Hi All,

Wondering if I get any advice here - in the table tgbrg820100 Roles by Employee. Each Employee has a list of Roles (AP/AR/GL etc) associated with their User ID

Is there another table in ERP LN that specifies what tables they can access with those roles?

Something similar to the attached picture

Add TAB in QR Code

Hi,
I try to create a QR code and print it on BW Print.
My QR code contains 3 variables: cwar, item, qty. separated by a TAB character.
the code is:
qrcode = cwar & chr$(0x09) & item & chr$(0x09) & str$ (qrcr)
qrcode = bc$ (1010, 4, qrcode , BC2D_SET_MODE (0x01) + BC2D_SET_LEVEL (0x01) + BC2D_SET_COLUMNS (0x00))
The result is, in BW Print, that the QR code doesn't appear!
If I take off the Tab caracters, It works!
I also tried to generate a simple barcode 10 and in this case it works!

I have a requirement that I have to open the script from each folder from server and read the file, if we found the string then capture the value and pass it to the report. simply I can say search script items How will it works. If anyone have Search script items please send me.

Zoom from Reference to a session and filter data there

I want an option in a session i.e., whinp1500m000.
Where I highlight a Record for Contract Deliverables for an example, and zoom to session tppdm7100m200 and filter only that contract which was highlighted in whinp1500m000

Zoom is working but not filter considering we don't have source code and extension functionality not available.

Thought about a new intermediate session which will be called by whinp1500m000 and this new session will call tppdm7100m200 using something like this...
query.extend.where.in.zoom


Any good suggesion will be help full.

Hello,

we would like to use the automatic file transfer (tfgld1620m000) for Austria but find it hard to setup the right tags for it. Since Infor does not support Austria I wonder if someone has already managed to set this up individually and might help.

I need to automate File linking process through AFS.
The file linking session - dmdoc4540m002 is attached to Sales Quotation Overview. If I am writing AFS for Sales Quotation Overview and calling dmdoc4540m002 AFS as subprocess, will it work?As Attachments is not a standard command.

I know the webservices are always synchronous when we use BDE where there is always a response produced after a request. but we need to know if its possible to build an asynchronous webservice using BDE.

File Linking Automation

Hi

I am working on automation of File Linking.
We have files in local folder.
Currently user selects Sales Quotation from overview session, click on Attachment button on the session, answers "File Linking" on the following question, then session dmdoc4540m002 appears.User than fills the details and browse file from the local folder and upload it.

We need to automate it now and run it through job.
The issues I am facing are
1)Can "File Linking" be run as subprocess of Sales Quotation overview session while running through AFS?
2)How to get file from local folder path (eg.C:\upload\<Quotation No>\) and use it in stpapi.put.field( "dmdoc4540m002", "filename", "file_from_local_folder")?As I am not getting any function like dir.open() for local folder

Any suggestions?

Regarding conditional formatting

Hello Everyone,

I was just playing with LN 10.4 test environment and exploring Conditional Formatting.

Can anybody guide me how can we compare the value of field with current date?

e.g. I want to list all purchase order lines for which planned delivery date is < current date. (Planned receipts past due date)

Any help with suitable example will be highly appreciated.
