Hi,

I'm new for LN Programming... I have created an array which has different values.... I want to send the contents of array to the report... Here the number of elements of array may be varied for each and every time... So after adding this array variable for example "count" into the report input filed, how can I add this variable in the relevant layout....

Note : If the variable is a ordinary one, we can easily add it in the relevant form editor. But my variable is an array and also which holds different values(sometimes 10 values,20 and so on). So how can I add this array variable in the layout...?

Please let me know if some one has the idea about it...

The production order has a field called Actual Production Date (tidfc001.apdt) - the help says "the date hours were booked for the first time".

Does anyone know what session(s) would set this date ?

Hello everyone,

so I need to create a new record in whinh290 when a new row is inserted into whinh220. I tried different approaches:

1. I created Extension for whinh220, where inside after.save.object(long mode) hook I added my code. But it was not working. Judging from the trace file it seems like adding a record into whinh290 causes an update on whinh220 creating recursion.
2. So I decided to try out running whinh290 update code with activate() as a separate process. I fiddle around a bit with suspend() to leverage actual running times of main and child threds. And sometimes it does seem like a record in whinh290 was created (i'm checking it in ttaad4100), but after a while it gets removed so I suspect transaction doesn't end properly.
3. I also tried creating whinh220ue DLL and using ue.after.after.save.object(long mode) hook for updating whinh290. Same problem: it recurs.

Hi,

I'm new for LN Programming... Normally I'm adding my own variable in the particular layout and will get the result in the report. But right now, I want to add my array variable in the report layout... I don't having the proper idea about it. So can anybody please let me know that how to add the array variable in the report input field as well as in the report editor.

My script as follows in detail layout 3 as follows
detail.3:
before.layout:
cnt = 1

after.layout:
if cnt<=sort.index then
cnt = cnt + 1
layout.again()
endif

Here sort.index is an array which is holding n element and also which is declared in the programming script...

Please find the attachment for further reference...

Hi All,

While trying to close a Project Contract I am getting a message saying Please close the Project( Project Status should be closed).

But While going for closing the Project, I am not able to close this. I am not able to find where I can close the Project. In project Status field its showing only two constants i.e. Activate and Finished.

Hi all,

can anyone suggest me how to create userexit on following

If location of the invoice against the mentioned work order in the session tfacp1500m000 is at HO Accounts then the respective work orders cannot be modified by user
System should give a pop up Work order cannot be Modified and Reason is Bill is Pending at Accounts.

For this iam writing user exit.for which session i should write ue ....i.e..for purchase order(tdpur4100m900) or else received invoice(tfacp1500m000)

Hi,
I'm new for LN Programming... I have created a before.field layout as shown in the attachment(1.png)... And my programming script is as follows...

select distinct tctls903.user
from tctls903
where tctls903._index1
inrange {:logg.first} and {:logg.t.change}

|Here I got the user name but it's not sending to the report
rprt_send()

My before.field layout is attached as shown(3.png)....

My report script is as follows...
before.check.1:
before.layout:

if tot.log.detail = tcyesno.yes then
lattr.print = true
else
lattr.print = false
endif

While execute the script, I can displayed the distinct users with in the given range, but I got the last user name in the report instead of getting all user names... So how can I get the all user names in the report....
Please let me know that how to fix this issue...

I have done all the settings related with SMTP to send email with PDF attachment in Print Purchase Order session. It is creating email with PDF attachment but we are unable to open that PDF file. It is giving error that 'Unable to open file'.

Hi Baan gurus,
We recently closed the acquisition of a company that has Baan. We are planning to move the system from their DC to our DC. Currently, Baan is running on HP Unix and Ora DB 9. In order to move the system to our DC, Baan has to run on Redhat Linux and Ora DB 12g.

My question is, can we replicate Baan onto our server or should we install Baan from scratch and then migrate the data? Any recommendation or direction on how to approach this scenario would be highly appreciated.

Hi,

Sorry for posting once again because I have missed the screen shot in my previous layout... Could you please find the attached screen shot...

I'm new for LN Programming.... I have developed a standard report which is working fine... But I need to remove the "OK" Button option from the report dialogue box... So can you please tell me that how to remove the "OK" button from the report dialogue box...
