Unable to email PO through B2win

I want to email PO through b2win mail merge device but when trying to print it is giving error message “Report is not defined in tccom2mergc”.

I have done b2win mail merge configuration as given in attachment. Shall be grateful if anybody can point out the error.

The performance issue of baan

Hi, all,


For the current business environment, it seems the performance issue still no improve.

At the hardware side, more and more power hardware used. Still no big improve.

ltittle result I got asfollowing
The baan does not support.batch update. For instance, if you want to update many records, in baan, you can select them and update them one by one. It is a good example like the mapping in finance module.

The other is the code quality is awful. For example, in one ui or dll, there had been used select statement, in the loop, it called other dll, it is very strange that in the dll, it used the select statement again. Even sometimes, they does not use variables to store the value instead to use select statement record by record. A good example is generate the HU during the receipt process.

The above is what I found as so far.
Any one have comments on it?

Update XSLT Mapping for Incoming BOD

Hi All,

We are working on integration of EAM with LN10.5 and facing issues with one of the Incoming BOD(SourceSystemJournal) which is giving error for 2 fields Accounting Entity and Location.

Infor recommend that we need to include these 2 values in inbound BOD using XSLT Mapping. May I know how to use xslt mapping to add these 2 field in incoming BOD so that we will get all BOD's without any error.

Any help appreciated

Custom BOD Steps

Hi All,

I have started to work on custom BOD recently and need some verification/input from XI gurus. Based on my understanding following is the sequence of creating a simple custom BOD:

1. Create xml file with exact format
2. Create XSD project in LN Studio
3. Create BID project in LN Studio (Need to know the difference between BID and XSD project? Why do we need BID?)
4. Create BII project (This actually maps the xml field to table or converted values through hooks)
5. Generate DLL which creates two dll in LN

First of all can you please verify above sequence and understanding and confirm if that is correct? Also I need answers to my following questions:

1. When I call generate BOD dll in LN, in that scenario how would the DLL know which record needs to be sent into BOD? What is logic and where it is written which governs the record need to be sent to BOD?


Any input will be helpful.

Is the Baan EDI for Sales Order Delivery?

For Internal EDI, we want to ship from one company and want to setup a automatic receipt in another company part internal EDI.
Original orders would be created by internal 850S EDI transaction.

I see 856S, it is advance shipping notice.
But this non-supply chain version.

Any help is appreciated.

Totalling a column in report based on multiple other columns

Trying to wrap my head around this one.

I have a report in LN that prints delivery lines for a sales order. However, in many cases due to the nature of how our scanning system ties into LN we have delivery lines that have the same sales order number, position number, and sequence number for many records. The report is already sorted to have these records ordered by order number, position number, sequence number.

I want to roll up the quantities delivered on these lines based on all 3 of those values changing. Sales order number, position number, sequence number. I know how to do aggregates on a column when the column itself changes, but how do I do it based on whether or not multiple other columns' values have changed instead? Is that even doable?

How to color a record in UI

Hi all,
all our users are connected via webui, and we commonly use the conditional formatting options to set color for records with specific conditions.
But these conditions can be set only on the main table of the session.
Is there a way, by adding code to the session script, to set the record color using more complex rules (i.e. with check on multiple tables)?
