Subversive Plugin
Hi everybody,
Currently if I change a file and try to check it in with the Subversive plugin, I can enter a commit comment in the text area of the "Commit" window. Unfortunately, this comment is optional, so it might happen that a check in without a comment is performed.
Question:
Is there an option to make this commit comment mandatory, so that for each check in a comment must be entered?
maybe there is also an option in svn to configure this?

Job takes too long to finish
Hi everyone,
One of our jobs, that takes care of our order planning, takes too long to finish.
It starts at 3 am and normally it's finished by 6 am. Now, when i enter the office at 8 am, it's still running, taking up a lot of memory.
I've allocated some extra memory to the server today, but I would like to know if there are other things that might work and where i can see what the cause is.
i hope you people can help me. Thanks in advance!

Dump locale doesn't match with expected locale
On import table from dump file from session "Create table from sequential dump" (ttaad4227m000) we have following error:

Item Does Not Have Standard Cost For Date ...

We are in BaaN 5c
We have received an Item and on 19-09-2019, however the "Calculate Cost and Valuation Prices" date for the Item was done on the 23-09-2019 (after reception) now that we want to approve the inspection, 02-10-2019, we get error "XXX-XXXX Item does not have standard cost for date 19-09-2019". I have tried to run the session "Calculate Cost and Valuation Prices" (ticpr2210m000) backporting date to 19-09-2019 but doesn't do the calculation ( and I understand, you should not be able to calculate in the past). So, we cannot approve this reception.
I have checked tables ticpr300 301, 305 and 340, I could do GTM with the 19-09-2019 but, I am not sure if I have to use this last resource to solve this issue.
All inputs are appreciated.:confused:

How to print another report from report script or extension?
Hi,
There is a standard session that I do not have the source code.
When a user prints from that session, there will be a list of reports to select.
When a specific report is selected to print, it must automatically print another report with it using the same set of data that the selected report is printed.
Is it possible?
I have tried
- brp.open()
- spool.open()
- AFS
for both the report script, session extension, and report extension.
None of them works.

Connection Lost
Hi All,
I am facing this weird issue.
I have 5 dlls with similar logic. All of these are using the same domains/tables/flow of control etc. Only the main table selection is different as each of the dll is being used for creating different files depending upon selection on the session.
3 of these dlls are working completely fine by creating the files and transferring them to a local folder.
For the remaining 2 dlls, the files are getting generated on the server and return values of seq.close/seq.puts is also a success
But I am getting connection lost error (sometimes on server2client or clicking on any variable or just randomly)
I am debugging this thing for last 3 days with no success.
Can anyone please help me with this?

Insert value into other new table
Hi,
I ask if there is a method to insert values of an existing table into a new table that don't have values. I see that there is db.update, but I don't know how to use for this specific use.
My purpose is to display this new table in a report, because I don't need of all the fields of the existing table but only some that I have already put.

Problem in fixed-length file fields
Hi All,
Let me explain the whole situation here.
We want to create a file with fixed-length file fields without any separator.
For example column parent= tccom010.pctf is of length 20. Even if it is blank it needs to occupy 20 blanks spaces in the file. We are presently using sprintf$("%*s",20,shiftl$(parent)) to achieve it. The length of each data line to put into the file is always 3140 characters in this case.
So the issue here is, the file is not getting transferred to the local machine even if it is getting created on the server. The connection is getting lost at any random point(at seq.puts or server2client or on clicking on some variable). The same script is working fine in another environment though!!!:confused:
If we use any separator than there is no fixed-length file field and data line length is significantly reduced and it's working perfectly fine.
Can anyone please help/guide me on this?

How to display item image in SSRS report?

I have a device that calls SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Service) report on printing in LN.
I would like to know if anyone has a way to show item image from LN onto the SSRS report.
Item image is the tcibd001.imag in LN where an image can be attached to an item.
Any help is appreciated.

MMt no Link between Satelite because of CDF

I have an MMT Session which should be linked to a satellite session via cdf-Fields (of the satellite session).
MMT Session = Contracts ( contractno , contractvers,..
Sat.Session = Servicetask (cdf_contractno, cdf.contractvers)
Unfortunately in LN the link is only for main table fields (no cdf-fields) possible.
What is the easiest way to show only the referring Datasets in the satellite session.?
I just started developing with extensions. Next we have the tools update for 10.7 with more possibilities with extensions, specialy for my problem?
