Printing BARCODE script through Citizen printer

Hello ,


We are trying to print barcode labels from Ln to Citizen printer. But unable to do so. We have installed the drivers and able to take a test print page. But when the printing is tried through command prompt, it does not print, though we get the message as "Copied successfully".

We are trying below command-

copy c:\temp\barcoding.xml /b lpt1

Here barcoding.xml contains the data to be printed and lpt1 is port.

Can anyone help?

Extension - field refresh on form (stand. session)

Hello all,

I have extension point (LN 10.5) on stand. table A, where I use make.valid hook for changing value on field A.fld1.

We have stand. session stand. AAAAm001 where you can insert record into table A. Whenever user enters something into field A.fld1, make.valid hook gets called where I change value into something else, but the new value isn't refreshed on form until user makes it active again - for example clicks on the field.

For example, steps are (atm can't get 4th one to work):
1. User enters "2000" into field A.fld1
2. User leaves the field A.fld1 with tab or clicking the next field
3. Make valid hook gets called on extension where I change value into "2000-A".
4. Re-display new value in field A.fld without saving or clicking on field again

This is stand. session, no access to code and it is abs. necessary for user to see the changed value without saving first or selecting the field again.
Is this even possible with extension hooks on standard table?

Convert warehouse to Non-Netable

We have a repair warehouse that we inadvertently created as Netable instead of Non-Net. If we transact all the inventory out can we change it to Non-Net or is it locked as Netable?

What are the consequences of just flipping it in the SQL table?

B2Win in LN UI

Hello Everyone,

One question is coming out of curiosity. According to me, we can not launch any application on client when using LN UI, whereas it is perfectly working under Worktop.

I think B2Win needs to invoke an application when B2Excel is selected as device. Can someone tell me if B2win works in case of LN UI or we have to stick to Worktop.

Hi

We have installed Infor LN 10.6 and see the full menu in bw but in LNUI only only master data, common data n tools are visible.
Have I missed something?Do I any setting changes?

DOM - Store documents in FILESYSTEM

Hi,
I'm facing a problem with the DOM.
As said in the help I'm trying to build a document to sotre the Production Orders documents in the server.
I've created a new library: tccomdomdestfs (Page 40 of the DOM manual)
But the documents are not sent. Error: Destinations not found when initializing the document distribution.
But, it is supposed that there is no mail sending, but a document stored in the server ($BSE/dom/)
How can I define it to be sent correctly? We've it setup to send mails without problems but we cannot setup the document storage.

I am confident that there must be a standard dll function for getting the default price for an item in Sales Order Line (and maybe other places) given every other data such as Business Partner, Quantity, and everything else it needs to know in order to calculate discount and/or promotion.
The question is what is it and how can I use it?

FP vs Release

3 Questions:

1. Can somebody explain the mapping between FP vs LN Release?
Example: Someone says, FP9 means Infor LN 10.3, FP22 means InforLN 10.6 .
Whats the exact is the mapping between FP0 to the present FP vs LN Release?

2. In Demo license of 30 days, Can somebody test the LN Studio Development (New Development - just for trial purpose)?

3. In the latest Infor LN (I guess release 10.6), has the 'Logo' in Report is resolved, (without workarounds of fonts or without using B2Win?). Can the Color Logos be printed on screen & Printer?

[Extension] How to hide records on conditions in multi-occ session?

Hi,

I would like to know how to hide (filter out) records on conditions in multi-occurrence session using Extension?

For example,
There are 4 records in a multi-occurrence session that has 1 field and the data as follows: 1, 2, 3, and 4.
I want to hide (filter out) the record that is 3 using Extension.

I did some research and only found that Extension does not allow
