Custom Index and using it for

Hi,
Created a 'Custom Index' using Extensions and I can see that my new index is visible if viewed using GTM. Now, can I use the index as a session index? (I dont see it listed in ttadv2101s000)

Current standard index will not help satisfy the requirements for header View fields and detail fields and sorting requirements.
