Script for Dynamic data updation

Hi,

I have developed maintain session in the quantity of every type cumulative is calculated in other field, when the specified line is allowed for approval and rejected. Bases on rejection and approval the cumulative quantity should update according to that means if rejected the cumulative quantity against the line should 0 and if approved the cumulative should be updated based on previous approval of specified type.
Need script for cumulative quantity updation.
